The fresia, native to South Africa, gives you an aura of charming freshness that touches all your senses. Fresia tells you a gentle story, inspired by 800 years of tradition, just waiting to become your story.

Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’s Fresia fragrance is a very delicate scent. It takes its inspiration from the scent of fresia flowers, native to South Africa where fresia’s grace many gardens with their beautiful, fragrant flowers. In flower symbolism it is associated with mystery and fascination with the unknown.

A fragrance with a fresh and clean tone. It opens with brilliant notes of fresia that characterise the bouquet. In the heart, violet and centifolia rose absolute give the mélange candid and delicate nuances. The base note, a powdery accord given by the iris note that is joint by soft musk notes.

Scent Profile – Fresia Accord, Violet, Cabbage (Centifolia) Rose Absolute, Iris, Musk

The Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella can trace its roots back to the Florence of 1221. In that year, Dominican friars founded the convent of Santa Maria Novella, and began to cultivate – among other things – a vegetable garden. From that same garden, many centuries of experience in pharmacopoeia and natural preparations began to develop. And in later years that experience would expand to include the worlds of cosmetics, fragrances and wellness products.
