Falcon Leather started with the idea of creating a Leather fragrance inspired by the Falconer’s glove.
The Creative approach was to exacerbate the power of the note at the start thanks to Saffron. Unfold and enrich the texture of Birch Tar to evoke both sides of leather: highlight the smooth full-grain side with Cistus Labdanum Andalusia, amplify the soft suede side with Benzoin Absolute Laos.

Aurélien Guichard comes from a line of seven generations of perfumers. He perpetuated this family know how by becoming a perfumer at an early age and recently took over a business of rose grower in Grasse.
Each of his Matiere Premiere creations reflects the respect of an oral transmission collected with great attention and tenderness. He consider perfumery as a way of life, where sense of observation, sensitivity to other and generosity are the qualities of the perfumer. His inspiration comes mainly from the exchanges with the people he meets.
Aurélien Guichard is the son of the famed perfumer Jean Guichard who is the director of the Givaudan Perfumery school and an incredibly accomplished master perfumer who grew up in Grasse, where his father grew flowers for the perfume industry. Following in his fathers footsteps he has created some of the most coveted fragrances for the houses of Guerlain, Tom Ford, Narciso Rodriguez, Gucci, Nina Ricci, Comme de Garcons, to name a few.
