Cap d'Antibes by Eight & Bob
100ml Eau de Parfum
Olfactive Family - Aromatic Fougere
Perfume Author - Albert Fouquet 1938
Cap d'Antibes for Albert Fouquet was heaven. In this charming village on the French Riviera, Albert enjoyed long holidays during the 1930s in the company of the elite of European aristocracy –holidays that extended from spring until the last days of summer. At that time, only a few were privileged enough to enjoy the elegant and ‘discreet luxury’ of spending the summer months on the French Riviera.
Unforgettable mornings were spent sailing in the Grande Bleu, golden sunsets were enjoyed from the gardens of the Eden Roc hotel, and balmy evenings were enlivened with exclusive celebrations and charming parties. Albert dreamt about these summers during the cold Parisian winters. Like any artist who strives for perfection, he spent many weeks delicately crafting a fragrance that captured the essence of his memories of those summer days
The result was Cap d'Antibes. A fragrance that was made for the exclusive enjoyment of its creator and became a favourite in his private collection.
After so many years, it is a pleasure to share the originality of the best perfumes created by Albert Fouquet and help ensure they reach the hands of those fortunate enough to share his tastes.
Head Notes - Birch, Green Notes, Mint
Heart Notes - Cinnamon, Moss, Violet Leaves
Base Notes - Cedarwood, Incense, Vanilla

Egypt by Eight and Bob
100ml Eau de Parfum
Olfactive Family - Dry Woods
Perfume Author - Albert Fouquet 1935
Egypt is one of the most exclusive fragrances created by Albert Fouquet. In 1935, Albert decided to fulfil a promise made to visit Ahmed, a childhood friend, and accomplish one of his dreams at the same time. Albert was fascinated by ancient Egyptian culture and while visiting his friend in Egypt he could enjoy lengthy tours of the Great Pyramid of Giza, as well as the temples of Luxor and Hatshepsut.
For Albert Fouquet, the visit was also an opportunity to travel to the birthplace of perfume. He wanted to research the essences that have been in use for thousands of years. He was also curious to discover what was in those extraordinarily aromatic jars offered to the gods to protect the pharaohs, or in the scents used to satisfy the revered Cleopatra. This wonderful visit was enriched from the moment Albert passed through the doorway approaching Ahmed’s home. The impressive garden of his villa contained dozens of flowers that were unknown to Albert.
Albert was overwhelmed by new sensations and when he was unable to extend his already lengthy visit, he planned a second trip four months later with the express intention of finding a unique perfume.
After several weeks of intense work in the villa of Ahmed, Albert Fouquet selected the final details of a new formula after returning to his chateau in Paris. Egypt became part of his exclusive and private perfume collection. It is such a pleasure to share the originality of the best perfumes created by Albert Fouquet and ensure they reach the hands of those fortunate enough to share his lifestyle.
Head Notes - Lemon, Cardamom
Heart Notes - Lavender, Nutmeg
Base Notes - Leather, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Moss
100ml Eau de Parfum
Olfactive Family - Dry Woods

Eight & Bob Original with book
Eau de Toilette
Olfactive Family - Woods
Perfume Author - Albert Fouquet (1934)
The Eight & Bob Original eau de toilette has a fresh, citrus scent with top notes of pine cone to begin with, followed by a dry wood, vanilla base notes. This sophisticated fragrance is made using extracts of the ‘Andrea’ plant, a wild plant, found in South America, but which is in short supply, due to the very exacting climate conditions required for it to grow. There are, therefore, a limited amount of Eight & Bob perfumes produced every year.
Beautifully packaged in a handsome monochrome book/box, which tells the story of the chance meeting between Albert Fouquet and John F. Kennedy.
Head Notes - Bergamot, Lemon, Cardamom, Ginger
Heart Notes - Cedarwood, Guaiac Wood, Cistus Labdanum, Nut
Base Notes - Patchouli, Sandalwood, Grey Amber, Vanilla
Eight & Bob began when American student John F. Kennedy met Parisian aristocrat Albert Fouquet on the Cotes d’Azur in the 1930’s, not only was he charmed by the man, he was also intrigued by his hand-crafted scent. Fouquet left a fragrance sample at JFK's hotel with a note that said, "In this jar, you will find the dash of French glamour that your American personality lacks." Upon his return to the US, JFK made a request for eight bottles of scent – ‘and if your production allows, one for Bob’.

Nuit de Megeve by Eight & Bob
100ml Eau de Parfum
Olfactive Family - Dry Woods
Perfume Author - Albert Fouquet
Megeve... a charming ski town nestled between France and Switzerland, and a historic playground for the young, beautiful and affluent. Here in the thirties, during the birth of skiing as a pastime for the social elite, Albert Fouquet met the beautiful young Austrian girl Annicke. Hours of conversation beside the fireplace, laughter and dancing, led to a firm promise to meet again. Fouquet wanted to hold on to his memories of that evening without forgetting any part of the magic of Megève: the smell of the mountain air and the wood burning in the fireplace, the ambience created by that exclusive party.
Eight & Bob's Nuit de Megeve opens with alpine freshness, crisp notes of grapefruit and gently tart petitgrain that flow smoothly into the warm spice of an apres-ski chalet... think notes of clove, coffee and vetiver. As it dries, a radiantly musky tobacco note exudes suave confidence, evoking fireside revelry that lasts deep into the night. Smooth, sophisticated and self-assured, Nuit de Megeve is a scent for gentleman who appreciates the finer things in life.
Scent Profile - Black coffee, Iris, Tonka bean, Moss, Tobacco, Vetiver, Clove buds, Grapefruit, Petitgrain
